The Self-RIPE (Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement) of IST was conducted from 23rd to 25th June 2025, based on the sixteen RIPE Standards. Prior to the visit, the University prepared an Institutional Performance Evaluation Report (IPER) in accordance with the guidelines provided by QAA-HEC, as outlined in the HEC RIPE Manual. This preparation also included detailed responses to queries related to each of the sixteen standards through EOIs. The evidence corresponding to these standards was thoroughly reviewed by the evaluation panel during the assessment process.
The Vice Chancellor and the University team actively facilitated the review panel, engaging in comprehensive discussions on various aspects of institutional functioning and strategies for enhancing the quality of teaching and research.
Over the course of the three-day visit, the panel conducted extensive documentation reviews, interactive sessions, and on-site inspections. The Reviewer not only identified key areas of concern but also provided actionable recommendations for improvement. All stakeholders were encouraged to offer candid feedback to foster institutional transparency and participatory decision-making. During the visit, the panel also conducted physical inspections of infrastructure, reviewed institutional resources, and held focused discussions with faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
