Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Entrepreneurship is a process through which we can scale up the innovative ideas from lab to the market. Entrepreneurship education for our faculty, students and professional necessitates an integrated approach to develop these passionate professionals to a level of success and maturity where they can better contribute to the socio-economic development of Pakistan.

The Institute of Space Technology (IST) is going to organize an “Entrepreneurship Bootcamp” in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission from April 23 -26, April, 2018. Dr. Nauman Farooqi, from Mount Allison University Canada is the principal resource person for the Bootcamp

Scope & Learning Experience:

Lean Start-up / Business Model Canvas is relatively new concept which basically captures the business model in a portable one page diagram. The approach consists of nine key areas which every innovator needs to look at to move their idea forward. These nine key areas are:
1) Customer Segments
2) Customer Relationships,
3) Channels
4) Revenue streams
5) Value proposition
6) Key resources
7) Key Activities
8) Key Partners and
9) Cost Structure

Principal Speaker and Resource Person:

Dr. Nauman Farooqi, from Mount Allison University Canada is an experienced academic and professional with a proven record and demonstrated ability of taking projects from vision to reality. He has over two decades of academic, corporate and public sector work experience which spans Canada, United States, South Asia and the Middle East. Specializing in the areas of finance and entrepreneurship, He holds a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration.
