Workshop On Managing Aerodynamic Contingencies in Rotorcraft Operations 28th to 30th October

Rotorcraft are important aerial vehicles having many applications in military and civilian fields. These machines are also complex in terms of their functioning and control. Despite improved reliability over time, these machines are prone to complex responses in certain aerodynamic conditions including, but not limited to, settling with power (vortex ring state), retreating blade stall, ground resonance, dynamic rollover, low-g conditions and mast bumping, low rotor rpm and blade stall, loss of tail rotor effectiveness etc.
