Amina Malik: From Aerospace to NAURÉ – A Journey of Reinvention and Purpose
From the design of cutting-edge aircraft to the development of conscious personal care products,
Amina Malik’s career is a remarkable blend of science, passion, and fearless transformation.
A proud graduate of the
Cranfield University with Vice Chancellor Gold Medal for best FYP in 2006, Amina began her career in Aerospace with a strong foundation in engineering. She received National Youth Awards for science & technology from ministry of Youth Affairs Pakistan in 2007. Her pursuit of excellence took her to the UK after she won the extremely competitive Anne Marie Schimmel scholarship. She earned her master’s degree in Aerospace Vehicle Design from ,
Institute of Air Transportation Systems (DLR and TUHH) (2008–2009) where her MS thesis was awarded the prestigious Airbus Systems Design Award.
She then spent six years (2011–2017) at the ,
Institute of Air Transportation Systems (DLR and TUHH) in Germany, where she contributed to high-level research and system design in one of Europe’s premier aerospace ecosystems. In 2017, Amina transitioned to industry joining Airbus as a consultant, where she worked in programme management of aircraft cabin systems for one of the world’s leading aerospace companies.
But in 2023, after over a decade in aerospace, Amina made a bold pivot.
Equipped with the same analytical mindset and a deeply personal vision, she founded
NAURÉ—a haircare and skin care brand that combines science, nature for a long term health.
NAURÉ is more than a business—it’s Amina’s way of bridging two seemingly different worlds. Her products are the result of rigorous formulation, ethical sourcing, and thoughtful design—principles drawn directly from her engineering background at IST.
“For me, engineering was never just about machines. It was about solving problems. NAURÉ started from a personal need, but it evolved into something with real purpose,” she reflects.
Amina Malik’s story is a testament to the power of reinvention. It proves that even after a decade in a highly specialized field, it’s never too late to chase a new dream. Her journey inspires engineers, women in STEM and aspiring entrepreneurs alike reminding us that the path to success is not always linear, but it is always yours to chart.
