A four member delegation from the Cabinet Division visited IST on Monday, August 29, 2005. The delegation consisted of Mr Ejaz Rahim, Cabinet Secretary, Muhammad Azam Rathore, Addl Secretary and Brig M Azhar Pervaiz, Secy NTISB. The visitors were shown around the facility of which they were very appreciative.
In his remarks, Mr Ejaz Rahim, Cabinet Secretary said “I visited the Institute of Space Technology and found it to be a centre of excellence in every sense. The dedication of the administration was transparent. The approach to higher scientific education is commendable. I believe the Institute is ripe for a degree awarding status.
If there is anything the Cabinet Division can do to pursue the pending issues, I would be very glad to do so. All in all, an Institute one can be proud of.
